Volcanoes Lodge at Bwindi is located just close to Buhoma Village next to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park at the extreme of the western part of Uganda. The lodge is positioned on a hill exceeding the river, giving a perfect view of the flourishing rain forest. It’s a focal point for all tourists who love gorilla tracking and it’s the best place in the national park.
Accommodation & Facilities
The lodges are designed inform of thatched cottages with high quality facilities. The toilets and bathrooms are more like the ones in the distant safari camps. The cottages have a beautiful Veranda with well stocked bar and an organized dining room that gives a scenic view of the Forested hillside.
Wildlife & Activities
Bwindi is well known for its large population of gorillas, many tourists visit Uganda just see these great animals that look more like human. Besides that, the park has about 93 mammal species, 11 different types of primate along with 350 types of bird species.
They can easily be sighted out through the nature walks accompanied with a tour guide.
